History: This stalwart of the PGA Tour dates back to 1946. Played mostly at Houston-area venues, it's been at its current location, Redstone Golf Club in Humble, Texas (irony...?) since 2003. Curtis Strangeand Vijay Singh are the leading winners in the tournament's history, having each won it three times in their careers. Defending champion is Anthony Kim, pictured there above.
The TV: Thursday and Friday: Golf Channel; Saturday and Sunday: NBC. All days, 3-6 p.m. Eastern.
The course: Redstone Golf Club, Tournament Course. Ranked 14th out of 52 courses on the PGA Tour in 2010, the course record is 63, set by Adam Scott in 2008. The most difficult hole is the finishing 18th, a par-4 488-yarder, which also serves as the Kodak Challenge hole.
The field: With most of the big names in the golf world taking the week off to prepare for that little invitational tournament in some backwater Georgia town, it's a quieter tournament here. Still, you can catch glimpses of Lee WestwoodPhil MickelsonMatt KucharErnie Els and Steve Stricker, as well as 2011 winners Gary WoodlandJhonattan VegasAaron Baddeley and others.
The fantasy picks: Lee Westwood (A-list), Steve Stricker and Charl Schwartzel (B-list), JB Holmes (C-list).
The relevant video: Some touching moments involving Payne Stewart and Stuart Appleby, along with a breakdown of the course:
